This is the third game in the series although there is little if any resemblence to the previous two titles. Players can choose to play Billy, Jimmy or Sonny who journey and fight throughout America, China, Japan, Italy and Egypt in search of the three Rosetta Stones. There are shops on each level that allow the player to purchase power-ups for depositing additional credits.
The boardset can be configured to be installed in either two or threeplayer cabinets.
The first two Double Dragon games were made by Technos, but this game was made an outside team. However, Technos did create the Famicom/NES version of this same game. |
